Estimator – Concrete & General Contracting

We’re looking for an experienced Estimator who can own the bid process from opportunity analysis through proposal, build strong customer relationships, and work closely with field leadership to ensure profitable, accurate, and timely project awards.

What You’ll Do:
Core Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full bid cycle: project review, quantity takeoffs, estimates, proposals, clarifications, revisions, and follow-up.
  • Analyze drawings/specs and develop accurate material, labor, productivity, and subcontractor pricing.
  • Maintain and grow customer relationships to support repeat business.
  • Coordinate closely with PMs, field leadership, and the Estimating Manager to ensure alignment on scope and constructability.
  • Track opportunities in the CRM and maintain an accurate pipeline.

Performance Expectations:
First 30 Days:
  • Learn Prestige processes, systems, and service lines.
  • Begin qualifying opportunities and preparing 3–5 estimates per week.
  • Learn Bluebeam, quantity takeoff workflows, and estimating templates.

By 90 Days:
  • Independently qualify 20–25 opportunities/month.
  • Produce 5–10 estimates per week with 90% accuracy.
  • Build strong working relationships with field and PM teams.
  • Follow up on proposals and assist in closing deals.

6–9 Months:
  • Fully manage bids end‑to‑end, producing $1M+ in monthly estimating volume.
  • Support value engineering, customer revisions, and contract negotiations.
  • Identify and execute at least 3 process improvements to drive efficiency and backlog growth.

12 Months:
  • Fully integrated, consistently managing estimates from initial opportunity through award.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and annual growth goals (5–10%+).

What You Bring:
  • 4+ years estimating experience managing bids independently.
  • Concrete expertise required; restoration/GC experience a plus.
  • Strong ability to read plans, interpret specifications, and perform technical takeoffs.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam, estimating/takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and follow-up discipline.
  • High attention to detail, bias for action, and ownership mindset.
  • HS diploma or equivalent required.
